Are you over 50 and want to know more about
computing? Have
you tried courses but found them unsuitable? These teaching sessions are different.
You will have
individual tuition
from a patient volunteer in a relaxed and friendly
atmosphere. There are no set courses to follow, and no tests! We will
teach you what you want to know, at your own pace.
It doesn’t matter whether you
are a complete novice, or already know something about computers and
want to improve your skills. You don’t have to have a computer at
home. But if you do
own one, and are experiencing problems, we may be
able to advise you
on how to solve them.

New venue, more sessions
The continued popularity of these sessions has enabled us
to offer them at a second location - Ranikhet Extended School.
Formally launched on 1st October 2007, as part of the Digital Inclusion
Project, the sessions are held on Monday mornings in the IT suite.
There are 8 computers, and a number of volunteers on hand to help you.
To get to Ranikhet Extended School, turn into Spey Road
from Dee Road. At the T junction in Spey Road, you will see the
entrance to the school on the right. Parking is available inside
the school gates.
The Digital Inclusion Project is supported by BT, Connect
Berkshire, and the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce. It is
managed by Ranikhet Primary School, and run by a steering group with
members from a number of local organisations, including Age Concern
Berkshire. |
