Who we are and
what we do
Our
aim is to promote the well being of all older people in Berkshire
and to help to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
We do this through the services and products we provide, and by
guiding local opinion and policies on subjects affecting older people.
Our services promote social inclusion and self – reliance, as well as
providing practical help and advice.
Based in Huntley House in Reading, our work throughout Berkshire is
supported by many local organisations, with whom we work in partnership
to provide most of our services. In addition, a number of private
individuals donate money to us, or spend time with us as volunteer
workers. This helps us maintain our independence, and plan new services
for older people in the future. |
